Creamy spoon brigadeiro
Softer than party brigadeiro. A little cream goes in at the end to make every spoonful creamy.
What we'll need
- 395 g condensed milk
- 3 tablespoons 50% cocoa chocolate powder
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 100 g cream
1 cup = 240 ml. Measurements follow the original recipe.
Serves 6 people.
Contains: Milk.
Here's how it's done.

Gather the ingredients.
Measure chocolate, butter and cream. Open condensed milk and set out a heavy-bottomed saucepan, spatula and six heatproof bowls.

Mix before heating.
With the heat off, put condensed milk, chocolate and butter in the pan. Stir until the chocolate lumps dissolve.

Cook while stirring.
Cook over low heat, stirring continuously and scraping bottom and corners, for about 8 to 12 minutes. Stop when thickened and a spatula leaves a path that closes slowly.

Make it creamier.
Turn off the heat. Add cream and stir until color and texture are even. The mixture should fall from a spoon in a thick ribbon.

Portion and let cool until warm.
Divide among six bowls and wait about 20 minutes before eating. To serve cold, refrigerate once lukewarm.
